Hello, Brothers and Sisters in Christ!

The countdown for the year 2017  has officially started! It is at this very period of time that we all should sit at the feet of the Lord, and retrospect about the Goods and the bads of this year. It is also during this reflection time, that we all should seek God, Thank Him with Praise and Adoration, for all He’s done and all He is about to do in our lives by His Grace! The month of December reminds us of Him all along for a purpose: so that we get things right with Him. And what better way to retrospect than rejoicing while Praying to Him at the same time!

Join me to sing for Jesus in December

Let me do a little bit of a background story there:

It’s been 2 months that I’ve been planning on doing something that would Glorify God in December. Not only that, but also because December 31 will mark the FIRST YEAR of my blog www.GodBlessyouxo.com was Launched! I came up with several ideas but I didn’t seem to agree on one! Then, as I was desperate, I asked the Holy Spirit to lead me because I was paralyzed by an unknown fear.  And that’s what He did.

Did you know!

I love to Praise God so much and I am always on the hunt for new Christian songs! As I am writing this post, I am currently listening to Jaye Thomas    (A singer I never heard of, singing a song I know very well: For your Glory/send the winds). By the way, this version is AMAZING! I love it. Check it out!  Anyways…

Back to our story!

For you who follow me on Instagram @godblessyouxo (you can follow me too if aren’t), you can testify that on every post that I share, there is always a Christian singer’s name and his song title related to the message next to it. Therefore, for this holidays season I knew that I wanted to share with you something with music in it and, Thankfully, I was guided to do a simple sheet of 31 songs (each song for each day of the month of December). It’s all about Praying to God while Singing.
The songs were carefully chosen for each level of the Prayer our Savior Jesus taught the disciples. (as you can see, each level are highlighted below) When the disciples asked Jesus how to pray, He replied (Matthew 6:9-13):

9.Our Father in heaven,
may your name be kept holy.
10 May your Kingdom come soon.
May your will be done on earth,
    as it is in heaven.
11 Give us today the food we need,
12 and forgive us our sins,
as we have forgiven those who sin against us.
13 And don’t let us yield to temptation,
but rescue us from the evil one.
For thine is the kingdom,
and the power, and the glory,
forever and ever. Amen.

What do I mean?

Let me give you an example of what I mean. 6 songs were selected for each level (see above). So, the first 6 songs are for level one, and so forth. On the first level, you can read  Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy-> The first 6 songs at this level are all about who our God is, His names: Father, Great I AM, Hosanna, Miracle worker, Wonderful wonder, The King of Glory (download the song sheet to see the titles).
The same logic applies to the remaining verses (10, 11, 12, 13) that I call Levels.

For that, I prepared the songs sheet as well as its Praise verse manual with the Praise verses for each level. They both are ready to be printed or to be read digitally. Follow me on my social media and let me know what you think of the playlist!
